Barbie animation just got worse..

I was looking at new Barbie movies i got from my friend, and the animation just isn' the same anymore.. I know they want to improve and make her look 3d, but i think it is just awful- they should've stuck with the animation in Rapunzel and Swan Princess.. she still looked pretty there.. Now i think of Bratz whenever i look at Barbie.

Which new Barbie movies are you referring to? I've seen Swan Lake, Barbie and the Magic of Pegasus, Fairytopia, the 12 Dancing Princesses, the Island Princess, and the Three Musketeers. Uh, yeah, so I would say that's a good chunk of the franchise. (So what if I'm a grown woman? They're sparkly happy innocent fun and I adore them!) The animation style and quality has seemed pretty consistent to me. But the last one made that I saw (Musketeers) was made in 2009, and there's probably been at least five that I haven't seen since then.

Hmm! I havent seen A fairy secret. I have seen Swan Princess and Rapunzel. The animation of Barbie was kewl there.

Animated characters had changed a lot. Even the theme of the story had transform into a modern lifestyle. The old days are better and it should preserve.

Yeah, i guess they are also adapting to the modern world since not many people and kids would watch the movies if they cannot relate of apply what they've learned and seen in the movie.

Haha! i have seen some barbie movies, and i think it is really good, and my niece loves her... i don't because i think she does not move normally as other cartoons would hahah :D

There is no doubt that animation does not have the same quality as earlier, but destroying what was already good earlier in name of improvement is stupid. Barbie looked nice in her earlier movies. But I havent seen the latest one yet.
