Sorry I been MIA

I have been busy for the last week between work and spending time with my lovely boyfriend. Work has been very busy the last few weeks because they cut more jobs and are making lots of changes because are hospital budget is not doing good. In my department alot of changes are being made and will know more information on Monday. So I been stressed and worries because I can't afford to lose a pay cut or even lose my job because I have medical issues and I need insurance. If it comes to it I'm going to try and claim disability and I could probably get medicaid. But I been really stressed because of all of this. I'm luckily to have my 2nd job as a back up but pretty soon they won't need me as much either because their hiring another girl to help fill in when needed and they'll only call me if they have a call off and nobody can come in. I work 2 days next month with my 2nd job and that's it unless I get a phone call. So yeah that's why I haven't been on here much lately. I'll keep you all informed as soon as I know more information. My best friend got let go where I work and I feel so bad for her because she has a family to provide for. It's just so shocking the way things are going. Is this happening where you are at?

though i haven't encountered you here before, everyone coming back to mylot is always welcome to come back. in fact i also am a returnee.
please take care of yourself and always be optimistic. things will be alright after some time.

hi blolndie yes its like that here in Southern California too. My sol took a part time job at electronic repair when he is actually a computer programmer at much lower wages as that was all he could find after bein jobless for a long time. The places where he would normally have applied are now laying off staff instead. I hope you keep your job as its a rough old world without a job here in California or anywhere else I can imagine.

Hello Blondie, that's okay we all got problems to sort out in our problems offline and then come back later on when we have the time. your still lucky that you still got your job while others can't look anymore and stop staying at their house because they couldn't pay their mortgage. hope things would go well for you and your boyfriend, life is simply hard now compare before.

I'm sorry to hear that so many changes are happening at your place of employment. I understand what you mean. It is often said that we should have3-6 months of income in our savings for an emergency fund. My family is nowhere near having that much saved up. So if we were to have a pay cut or lose our job it would be very difficult. I hope that things will improve for you. We don't know anyone that this has happened to lately.
