I like to watch movies, but my weekly schedule just too tight, and I spend most of time at work. So, if I would have time to watch movie, I would rather stay home and watch DVD instead of going to movie theater. But for those movie fanatics, there is a cheaper way to watch movies if they rather enjoy the environment of cinemas. MOVIEPASS.com where you can sign up with their flat rate service, and they can watch as many movies available at their local theater as much they want. Would that be an economic way?

I have this great one through my scotiabank scene credit card. If I use that card at the theater, I get a bunch of points towards a free movie. Each movie I go to and pay for, I get 250 points, and every 1000 I get a free movie. Even better, is when I use my creditcard, I get 1 point per dollar. I use my card a bunch for groceries and things like that, so it doesn't take long to add up the points. Right now I have enough points for something like 3 movies... just haven't gone out to see them yet :)

Wasn't aware of this site. For Americans only? I rarely go to the theaters; I'd rather either rent a DVD, or wait until it comes on cable. Those movies that have awesome visuals, I'll wait until I can exchange my points for a free movie ticket on a survey site I'm a member of. That's how I saw the Avengers last year. ;)

These days I find I cannot go to the movies because it is expensive. You just don't buy the ticket you also buy food or eat out. My cousin shares some of his movie dvds.

Yes for it will encourage more movie goers and refrain from using their electric current at home. In a movie 20 or 30 person inside the movie is with the same electric consumption even as compared one thousand people on same movie house. Just imagine the savings from electricity. Both acts meet together is grossly advantageous to both movie house and household owner.
