I have thought of this discussion due to an officemate who has accidentally dropped his iphone4s in their condo building and the siad phone dropped to the lobby and he was at 7th floor. You can just imagine how this would looked like. it was a disaster! he he oh well i had the photo here uploaded for you to see.
My friend was worried though because he has no plans to change his phone yet because it was just new! he said it was really out of his budget and it was a huge problem having to spend to a new phone...
Have you ever faced such a situation where in you did not prepare or has bot budgeted anything but then you had to ultimately spend and look for cash for it because it sure is a necessity?

I had that happen when the alarm in my house went off because the battery was low and it took me a while to get the money necessary to pay the fine. Also there was a retreat I was not ready for. I never figured that my furnace needed looked into every two years. You really do not look into those things. As for that iPhone, it could be if your friend kept the receipt, that the cell phone provider would replace it. Unfortunately, he may have had to pay extra for a protection plan on top of purchasing his iPhone. I know when I bought my iPhone 5, they offered me a plan to replace it in case there was an accident and also they would replace it with the next version.

hi suspenseful.. thanks for your response. well it does happen to most of us, really. sometimes we really just could not afford to be on a thin line right? sometimes when we all had everything budgeted, and figured out sometimes there would be like this that would come our way and we had to tighten out belts all the more. =)

Ouch! I'm sure he was unhappy. We all go through this in life from time to time. When it occurs with me I will try to go without what I need for awhile, and hope to buy it later when I have the money to do so.

Being unreachable for a few days can be worrisome to our friends and family that's true.

Oh wow so sorry to see that happening to your friend. That is a major investment and losing that kind of gadget is very tragic for me. If that ever happens to me, that would be disastrous especially on my wallet. :D
I could not even afford to buy even the cheapest phones right now to replace that one. Maybe he could try consulting to Apple if they can at least replace the glass panel if the phone is still working.

I feel ever so sorry for the man that dropped his i phone in the condo building and it fell to the 7th floor. It is a shame it is a huge problem for him having to buy a replacement for it.
My personal stereo broke and so I borrowed my friends one. Unfortunately my friends one also broke. I was horrified when I found out how much it was worth: two hundred and fifty Australian dollars. I had no chance but to buy that and it was a heavy dent to my travel finances. It was essential to take the personal stereo back in working order to my friend.

I am sure the owner of the phone is not the only one feeling disappointed over the accident.
. I remember when I was a student, I lost my hone to some scumbag who stole it. I cannot tell my parents because I have it for just some months. I = could already play the situation and the quality of the coming scolding. So, I bought a cheaper phone instead and lied outright when they asked me why I suddenly changed my number. I was careful not to let them see my phone and after some time, I let my guard down. I guess at that time, they just accepted their version of what happened to the first phone. I think my mum had an idea because she didn't let me buy any gadget until I finished 2 years after that. Harsh but I learned my lesson.

if he is still paying for that new phone that he accidentally broke, and can't survive without a cellphone, even a simple, basic one, then he's going to shell out or borrow money again just to have one, which means he's going to be paying for both for a long time. hopefully he has a friend, family member, or relative willing to give away their old extra cellphones.

I think budgeting is one way to save money and buy things we need. I think you to have some short-term plans for things you need to buy that does not cost too much and to have long-term plans for things that cost you too much money. I think you should try to increase the income and online money and cut down expenses to buy a new phone. I am also trying to buy a new mobile phone may be after six months and trying to save money for it.

And why does he need to buy another new IPhone? That isn't a necessity.
If something is a necessity, we find a way to pay for it even if there really isn't room in our budget for it. However, if it is something frivolous, it isn't going to get replaced if there isn't easily money for it.

I have had to find money all of a sudden for things that I had not planned for and it was a night mare.
I hate it when there are things that we have no savings to use to buy the things that either break or that we need in a hurry.
I also hate seeing my bills hit the roof as well each and every time we get a bill in.

I did a few months back. On a soda fountain. My sister in law worked here on day, and stole the darn thing. I had to pay for it. Almost 250.00 us dollars.
