Best in Travel

I have got some old books out to send to a charity shop. I found myself having a look at the Best in Travel 2011 guide book. Amazingly I did get to visit Brazil in 2012 along with three other countries in South America.
I believe it depends where a person lives to which are the best places for him or her to travel to. Albania, Bulgaria and Italy are superb for European people to visit. I think Vanuatu is not on any round the world airline routes. It is great for someone that lives on the East Coast of Australia to fly there. The Cape Verde Islands are a fairly new destination with some flights from my home country. I wonder if Syria is safe now but it was suggested in 2011.
Which would be the best in travel destinations for 2013 do you think?

Wow! It is very nice of you that you are able to travel in every destination that you like, me i always like to visit Europe especially France and Italy. They sound very romantic but for now i could afford.
Have you ever been in some parts of Asia? Asia is also getting popular for some tourists especially from Europe.
