Well, I guess I am shortly becoming a freebie queen! But, today I just wanted to let you Mylotters know in advance that February 5th, 2013.. IHop will be celebrating their annual National Pancake Day which started in 2006. It is a national charity for the Children's Miracle Network Hospitals and other affiliated charities where you can dine in and receive a free shortstack of buttermilk pancakes. Though it is not required to make a small donation, after enjoying your free pancakes, I'm sure anyone could donate a few dollars to this great cause. I LOVE pancakes, so I know that this may come in handy for those who just want to enjoy a small breakfast before work or getting started with your day.. it will go on all day on 2/5/13. Spread the word.

National Pancake day and free pancakes are will be given out. WOW! I love to have a taste of that free pancake! But how? Sorry for me, I think that offer is not available in our area. Anyway I will just make my own pancake. I have boxes of pancakes mix anyway. I love pancakes with hot chocolate. Yummy!

Yes, it is so exciting! Once I found out, I had to spread the word to you guys! Most of my Facebook friends aren't interested in stuff like this.. but it is available to only those who have an "IHop" (International House of Pancakes) restaurant in their area and only on Feb. 5th 2013. I love making my own pancakes too, but I do not get to cook them that often anymore because I don't have that much time to invest in it. I loveee buttermilk pancakes with buttermilk maple syrup or country rich syrup.. it is the absolute best! I have never tried it with hot chocolate, but I find it to be good with coffee if I don't put as much sugar as I normally would if I weren't eating pancakes, but I may try that! Sorry that this offer isn't available in your area, though!! Thanks for sharing your views!!

Hi Mrscallands, I tried to write the idea to my priest. But I repent from writting because we live in a poor suburb, I´ve worked volunteering for poor people in the past 18 years, and I know this community is very poor, and they will eat and wont donate. It´s sad, but I think it needs to be done in a richest district, where people has the will to help others, and not just to be helped. It´s seems that the well being and true richness is in the soul and in the care for others. This campaign wouldn´t work at this district, everybody will come to eat and won´t donate, I know it for sure. Or maybe at the mass they will donate more, but not after eating the hotcake. Who knows! However thanks you for sharing the idea. Blessings Mrxcallands... dainy

I am truly sorry to hear that. And as for your repenting, you shouldn't! You've done nothing wrong.. when helping others is your intention, sometimes we don't put together what all will have to be done until it comes time for extensive planning for such an event of this stature. Firstly, whenever something free is being offered to the public, it is going to attract an enormous amount of people.. most people don't mind giving to a cause for the good of all.. but there are just as many people who will attend but not contribute turning the charitable donation into more of a financial setback and a miracle profit. Maybe now that you have thrown the idea out there, it could be a project that your church or community could work on in the future.. not even just a pancake drive, but other things too!! Hope this helps your cause. Thanks again for sharing your thoughts!!

Hello Mrscallands, what lovely, tasty and tender work! I wish this kind of charity idea exists at my country. But I´ll suggest it at least to my priest. Please enjoy one for me, my prayers will be for you and for kids. Blessings Mrscallands... dainy

Aww, I'm sorry that there are restaurants in your area that offer such great charitable donations that also benefit the public. Hopefully with your suggestion and petition, it will become available soon! Thanks for commenting!!
