Anybody watch The Ring before?

I have watched "The ring" and also "The grudge", they both have a Japanese and an American version(if im not mistaken?) I didnt lose any sleep over them, but they sure made a mark in my memmory as the most scary movies i have seen so far. I loved them both, creepy as h**ll. I totally agree with you that Japanese horror movies are more scary, they got a diffrent way of making you scared.Japan and America should team up when making a horror movie, i think movies like "The ring" and "The grudge" is a great example that it works very well.

i loved the ring series. it was shown while i was in high school that i was afraid of turned off tv sets especially because our computer then was place in the sala where there's a tv. it was really creepy.

I've watched the ring a few times because I love horror movies. I think it was made by the same people who made the Grudge movies. I don't mind blood and gore but I don't like por*o in my movies.

You are right about psychological scares, the same reason why mu husband doesn't like to watch horrors. It will just bring depression for couple of days as he says. Also my father's boss would say [/i]I wouldn't pay just to be scared[i]. But me, I like to be scared.
