I really don't like to read books online. I would rather have a book in my hand and curl up in a chair with it or lie in bed and read before I go to sleep. I like turning the pages in anticipation of what is coming up next.

I understand, it is taking me a while to learn how to read these books online, but I am getting used to it :) thanks Artistzora! Kindle? I have heard they are wonderful. But I cannot afford that yet, maybe in the future :)

You may have already found them, but a few of my favorite sites are http://onlinebooks.library.upenn.edu/ http://librivox.org/ http://www.gutenberg.org/ There is a free Kindle application for PC that you can download from Amazon and then there are many, many free Kindle books you can read on that on your computer. Just go to Amazon and search for Kindle for PC.

Yes, it's a wringer washer. I bought it from my brother in law who got it from his mom. I love it and use it all the time. I grew up using one. They're the best. I hope you find tons of books to read!

That's a cool site. The pdf files for the books are downloadable. I usually prefer to read them in pdf because I can then read them on Kobo app.

Hi Joliefille, how are you today. I hope you are well. Kobo app? I am not familiar with that application. I will search about it and learn as much as I can. I appreciate the information. Have a good one!

I had tried to visit the site that day,but the internet accessibility in my area has been down for nearly a week.I am eager to visit the site and waiting to have internet accessible as soon as possible.Perhaps the problem is caused by cloudy weather.

Yes! I know, I had no idea there were sites like this either. This was such a surprise. The interface is pretty cool as well. Very easy to navigate. I just thought I would pass it along, as there might be people who like to read a bit between surfing pages. Thanks much and be well:)

Hey there! edvc77, I have seen some of your responses on other posts I've responded to by other mylotters. I like you, you seem a good person. and, you are welcome for the link. I had no idea that a site like this even existed. I just usually went to youtube and searched for books that were read aloud. Also, if you check back on this response, go down below, someone posted that a kindle was available for free download, check out the post down below. I like you, thanks for posting here, a good day for you!

You are very welcome. I can tell that sites like that are old news to many people, from the comments left. however, I never even knew that any of those sites even existed. So was pleased to accidentally come across one. have an excellent day!

An error comes up with the link. J.K. Rowlings is not the generous type and I would imagine she is none to happy with having her novels stolen. You can get novels for as little as 99 cents or even free on Kindle and you don't need a Kindle to read them. So stop stealing from us writers and read your books the honest way-PAY FOR THEM!!!

That would be a question for my husband, not for me, but I am sure a search on your favorite search engine should net you the answer.
