What are the reasons that you are still buying the usual planner even if there are gadgets and other technologies that can be use as our organizer nowadays? Is the planner that you are using is worth for the price or you are buying the one that is expensive even if you don’t have any benefits on it like having coupons? Are you buying a planner for some reason just because of the coupons? Or you are a type of person that will collect stickers from the coffee shop then you must complete it to get it for free?

A pleasant day Metatronik, I stopped purchasing planners over the past five years. And even now I didn't revive buying one for me, since a lot of my friends giving me one for free. And with those that I do received yearly, I have decided not to spend money for planners. And as I have think of it, I will just save my money rather to buy one planner.

I can get a planner even without having to buy so much coffee. I bought my planner at the department store. I need it so I don't forget important occasions.

I still buy a planner for a back up. You never know when the internet will be out. I also keep notes in it, and grocery lists. I hate using my cell phone for a grocery list. I can never get it organized the way I like.

Yes, I still use a planner. And at least for the last three years I've been buying the same exact type to use. I found that type work for me, so I just keep using it.

Before when i was still a student, i do have some planner/organizer that i had purchased by bulk from an educational supply store. However, nowadays all are made in digital form such as mobile and gadget applications that has an organizer and note programs. so, i usually set my notes and organizers via my android device which i can download an organizer apps. This also helps me most especially that such application has enabled reminder/alarm clock capabilities so that when the time had come for a deadline i will be reminded a week before that i have some workloads to do.

I haven't bought a planner for several years. This is not because I have gone to using one or more of the gadgets, etc. I'd don't even have a cell phone not because I am way behind, I make considerable use of the Internet, but because I haven't needed one bad enough to justify the expensive. The reason I haven't bought a planner is that my dentist started giving away a date book or pocket calender that is sufficient for my needs.

As a child I loved collecting things - from ballpens with different colours, stationeries, magazines etc. It's that feeling of collecting and amassing nice things that make me feel good just looking at my collection. So it was with the Starbucks planner which I had collected stamps for two years. The first planner was a gift for my cousin. The second one is from 2011 which I had used until 2012. It's handy for taking notes in case my phone runs out of battery.

I've been using a Day-Timer for years. I first got one for a job I was working back in the 80s, the company paid for it. I loved it and even though the job is long gone, I still order the refills every year. Oh yes, my computer, phone, and tablet all have organizers which I do use and I can sync them all, but electronics break and networks go down; good ol' paper and pencil is always handy and easily accessible, always there even if the wi-fi/3G/4G is not.

I only did it for curiosity formerly but now I lost total interest. I no longer plan I just do things as it used to be and do as I can with no more planners to kept and read from time to time. I think and do it right there and there.
