Forever Alone Mode

Today my mom and I went to another province. She has a meeting so she left me at the mall. Here's the thing, I hate being alone in a mall. It feels weird and I somehow feel self pity. I get this feeling that people are there with someone and I'm forever alone. Surprisingly though I had a great time having a date with myself.
Although if I had more money I would have enjoyed more.
How about you guys do you like being at the mall alone? What do you usually do at the mall aside from shopping?

I used to have the same mentality. I have always been afraid of being alone in public places as I feel like people would be staring at me and would be thinking how pitiful I am. But I was wrong people tend to mind their own business most of the times and sometimes it is empowering to do things alone. But as social beings, having friends along is of course a lot more fun. But spending some alone time with self is actually okay.

I never ever want to be alone when i am going outside.. Since i have nothing to do. Whenever i need some alone time, i just go home and into my room. But if it was a mall, there are tons to do there. If it was me, i guess i'd watch a movie or
look at the many books in bookstores.

I seriously haven't tried watching a movie alone in a mall. But it is in my "To Do" List before I die which I think is still far away. But I have tried being at a bookstore by myself and it was actually fruitful and fun.

I go to the mall to do shopping during holiday season, that is the only reason i go to the mall, i don't like to go to the mall for other activity other than shopping, and i always go alone. Having a date with myself is after all not such a bad thing and self pity thing for me as i understand that not every one of my friends and my parent always have enough free time to accompany me to the mall for my shopping and their strolling around. It is alright for me to shop alone as far as i am concerned even though i will not mind to have company alongside me. [

Well I see you exercise your independence a lot. Good for you. As for me,I had a fun time dating myself that day. Next time I'm gonna watch a movie alone. But then I think that having a friend to be with would be good specially while shopping as I have a hard time deciding on my own.

Hi1 I am pleased to meet you and very glad to know you had a good experience. Many people are deciding to travel, and live alone these days. There is much cruelty in the world, cliques, people afraid to speak up or they will get harassed by the 'group in charge'. so many have purposefully chosen to do everything alone, by themselves. However, if you can find good people, you are very fortunate in this world. I am glad you had a wonderful time! However, I hope you have friends to be with you next time in the mall, and also, go to see a good movie together :)

Well I have friends to hang out with in our province but since we traveled a great distance and the fair is not so cheap so I was forced to be alone. I thought it would be a dreadful experience as I am used to being with my friends. But it surprisingly went well. But yes you are right. It is always better to spend time at the mall with someone.

I love being alone all the time, I am alone right now, here in my bedroom I love going to the mall alone, shopping all by myself going from store to store, looking at the things I want to buy.

Wow. That's nice for you. Being comfortable when you are alone is a sign of independence. Me? I guess I need to be less dependent on others as I find it hard to be alone.

when i am alone,i like to use my phone play game,or reading book.But if you don't have a phone or book,just close your eye,be relax for a while.

Well I do all those things you do when I'm alone. But my favorite is closing my eyes. Sleep is a privilege for me.
