When you are to meet a customer and he does not show up...

If you have a set meeting with a possible buyer of a product, and you do need to be able to close a sales deal with this person... and then you set a meeting with him and he does not show up.... and asks for another day of meeting (but the day he requested is already a full schedule for you) if you were the sales person, in this scenario (again you need the sales closed somehow) would you risk and try to see if you could meet the person or would you just tell him that you had several other meetings in this day he requested?

I would tell the person, I have other meetings, and I can not change them for him, I have other people I need to talk to, and do business with, and if he doesn't understand then I am sorry, he has to pick a day, when I am not so busy.

I guess my brother do not have to feel bad after all, i thought that he should because he should still give the buyer a chance for a meet up, after all he is to buy and could help with his quota.. but that is just my opinion... :D thank you for your reply! God bless!

Happened to me many times in the past. By now I learned my lesson. I tell them when to show up, if it gets 15=30 min. later I will wait. If not their turn is over.
