Where would you like to discover in the future?

Can you think of any places that you haven't yet been to but you would really like to visit sometime in the future? They might be nearby places which are within easy reach over the next few years. Alternatively they might be places on your bucket list to hopefully see sometime in your life if you get lots of luck.

It would be impossible to narrow down the choice to a single destination because I enjoy visiting any where different. I do not even differentiate between exotic and desolate or remote and metropolitan. In fact, it would extremely difficult to image a place that I would not welcome a visit to if the opportunity arose. At the present time I do tend to return to European destinations, although I usually choose a different location rather than visit the same town or resort. This is purely because I can afford to do so maybe 3 times in a year as opposed to a single trip somewhere further.

Portugal was quite expensive, but I still find Spain to reasonably priced. Of course it does depend on where in Spain to go to and it is certainly much dearer than it was a few decades ago, but it compares well with Portugal or Italy.

Thanks for your excellent response. It is lovely that you can visit three different locations in a years time. Yes, going to a long haul destinations costs far more. I find West European places rather pricey nowadays.

I saw an episode of travelogue to the prince island in Canada and it was so amazing.I would like to discover that in the near future and so attractive to me.It's such a nice and quiet place to discover and also with great flavor of local food.

Definitely Sweden, I've always had a hankering to go to Sweden, but never built up the courage to do anything about it. I would love to go to Ireland and visit the Giants Causeway, plus there's the Isle Of Man, all of which I can get to without having to board a plane, so they are at least 'dooable'

I'd like to have the time to explore my own country, slowly.

That seems a great idea. I have met Australian people in Australia doing that sort of thing. I hope you can slowly explore your own country sometime in the future.

I know exactly what you mean about the beautiful beaches and tropical waters. I visited Hawaii during my trip around the world when I was 20 years old.

I have a desire to visit Great Britain. I can't say whether it would be possible. Within my reach I can visit Kunming of west China. From my place it is just 3hrs air travel. Kunming is a land of ever spring. Have you visited Kunming ?

I hope that one day you will visit Great Britain. I haven't yet been to Kunming but it sounds easily within your reach. I have visited Hong Kong when I was 28 years old on my way down to Western Australia.

I once was slated to go to France to approve some work for our suppliers. I've gotten all the documents necessary, and I've prepared for all the work for the at least 2 weeks that I was supposed to stay there. Then the stock market collapsed, and our company share prices tumbled down, and my trip was cancelled. That was over 10 years ago. I still would like to go there someday.
