Can't figure out where they are going to take the Vampire thing

I am learning who are of these characters are since I never watched Port Charles and only started watching General Hospital a few years ago. John McBann was one of my favorite character on OLTL. I loved him and Natalie together.

I am very intrigued by this storyline! Finally..something fun! The history of Caleb is that he also had a twin brother in Port Charles...he was a priest of a small chapel in the "woods"...not the city. Anyway, he came on line first and if I remember right, Livy and him met up first and that is how they had Caleb be revealed...Livy found out about the man the priest was hiding in the basement of the church...and the priest said it was his brother who was a vampire and he was trying to keep him safe etc. It has been off for about 10 years so I am spotty in what I remember, but I knew that would be allison barrington when she showed up...that is the same actress that played her on PC. And she was the one I thinkt hat had the candle show that was also kind of "out in the woods". Either it was her or Livy that had it, but it was a common scene in the show...just a homey little country kind of shop where she made all the candles. I was thinking to that he killed his mother as she had called John to meet her there and then found the knife thing that Rafe left in his backpack...Rafe was going back to the alley to meet her, she heard footsteps and thought it was John/Caleb and she attacked the person she thought was Caleb, not seeing it was Rafe,a nd she had trained him to fight and protect himself with that knife thing, so he reacted thinking she was Caleb and they fought and he won...only to find out it was his mother he had killed. And I think he is just saying it was John as he thinks that is what his mother would want him to do or maybe he is finally believing what she has been telling him all these years! But neither has explained...neither being Lucy or Allison...how John can be Caleb and out in the daylight as everyone knows vampires can't deal with sunlight or daytime. But as is often common, what they show you to believe is usually not what happens...so they are having us think it was Rafe that killed his mother having all that blood on his hand, by accident and John showing up afterwards...when really it could be that it was Caleb that showed up and killed her and Rafe just found her and then John walked on scene. If I remeber right, there was ending to Caleb in PC at least not one that would be final ending for the character. Can't wait till tomorrow! THank good ness the super bowl was today and no tomorrow or ABC would have prempted GH and we'd have to wait till Tuesday!!!!
