What is the best but cheap kiddie party SOUVENIR?

I have a friend who will be hosting a birthday party and is not sure what the give aways will be. Do you have a suggestion? Its for a 1 year old baby boy.

Most parents of 1 year old won't want to have candy. Gummies are good, so are dollar toys for the dollar section of walmart or target. Most 1 year olds won't care and will care about the bag or box instead of a gift.

i love going to kiddie parties! in my experience i love it when my child gets something that is can be used like pencils (school supplies) or loot with candies and chocolates.

Hi there! usually parties nowadays have themes in them. i remember my nephew's birthday we went to a known thrift store place in Manila that sells in bulk for cheaper price. and since he is a baby boy, we got a cars theme for him. so what we gave away are little match boxes. We just printed his name, date and stick it at the bottom of the car. :D The kids who joined loved the giveaways. :D
sometimes you can even think of a different give away for the participants who would join say, different for the girls, the boys and the adults. :D
Goodluck and this is rally a very nice issue. hehe its fun to resolve, just be patient and resourceful.

Boys like toys more than snacks, I think. SO I suggest you buy a toy for him, maybe a remote controlled car or plane or something like that. Anyway, a toy is a good choice, maybe you can ask your friend what's the boy's favorite's toy. IF it's not convenient, just buy a toy boys like.

I don’t know if it’s a fad in your country, however here in my country such events and souvenir are made by personalized items such as personalized mugs, shirts, and watches wherein the customize gift shop will make an image print out of the birthday celebrant so that they can embed it to the items such as on mugs or shirts.
