Last year I went shopping for Christmas presents needed a break, and found that there is now a tea shoppe in our Mall. It specializes not just in various teas, but also in tea containers, brewers, etc. and they will also blend teas out for you. It is called Teavana and you could also mail order it, although I have no yet because it would be too expensive on my budget, but it was nice to have a good cup of tea that I could really enjoy. Too bad it is too cold to go for a walk and I certainly would not want my friends to go out of their way.

I've been to their website and drooled over it. The teas look so good! I don't think there is a shop locally and it's probably a good thing. I can usually hold myself down when it comes to the internet, but not so much otherwise.

It is a good thing for me that it is so cold outside that I do not want to walk that far so I will probably wait for when the snow melts and it is not slippery. I could, of course, order tea by mail, but then I would have to pay the shipping and handling charges along with the taxes. Now if there was a discount or a tax free day, then I might.

It is getting warmer, so I might go to the Mall and get some, but it depends on my budget.

I have tried Irish Breakfast Tea, but have not seen Yorkshire Tea here in Winnipeg. They probably would have it in Vancouver or Victoria over in B.C. though. I sometimes try out those variety packages. The trouble here is that the stores think everyone wants to drink the decaffinated teas and I think if I want to drink tea I want it to keep me awake not asleep.

my sister in law and niece were really into loose teas for a while and i did get to try some at their house but i haven't found anywhere near where i live to buy any. the one that i thought was the coolest was some sort of tea 'flower' that bloomed in the pot of hot water (they had a clear tea carafe so you could see it). that was really different. however, i find most companies are making different and good teas. lately, i have been enjoying dark chocolate chai tea. it is quite tasty.

My daughter received one of their products for Christmas. It contained a whole bunch of different teas, plus a little pot to brew it in which releases the brew from the bottom of the pot right into your cup. It's really cool and the tea is absolutely delicious. And I might add, very pretty too because they use all these different flowers and herbs in the tea. It's pretty to watch as it's steaming away and these flowers, etc., start falling to the bottom of the pot. I loved the whole gift she got and I'm thinking of getting one myself.
