I am so excited that more people will be added to our pricing team. Our management and team lead had did a couple of interviews last week with a few people to add to the team. Me and the other girl was worried, like we thought oh man, they want to get rid of us so now they are looking into some people to replace us...... I know I shouldn't be thinking negative, but that is exactly what we were thinking. I guess our team lead read our mind, because he was like don't worry we aren't looking to replace you guys but they are wanting to hire 1 or 2 more people to add to the team. Because basically the pricing team is supposed to consist of 5 people not including the team lead. And right now there is only 3 people not including the team lead and there have been days that there were only 2 people doing work and we couldn't finish. That is because there should at least be 3 people working a day and maybe 4 people on the really heavy days. So they were expecting too much from us. Anyway, yea more people, means we can get the work done quicker. I'm really excited about that, but the team leader was telling us we still need to try and pick up the speed and try and work faster. The new people probably won't be starting until 3 weeks from now so we have to keep trying to prove to the management that we can do the work. We are figuring out new ways to get the work done faster and also I feel so blessed to have the team lead that I have, because he has been sticking up for us and he has been coming up with ideas on how the work can be done and so we will be trying that this week and hopefully it works out. Because I really don't want to lose this job.

It would be practical to hire more people, because when the holidays come, there should be someone there and if there was not enough people working, that someone would have to do double shift and maybe miss out on Christmas or Thanksgiving. And it is wonderful when companies think that way and do not make their employees work until they are exhausted.

You are right and I hope that those people stick around until the holidays. There have been people that have just quit because they didn't like the work. But now that there is going to be more of us, then it should be enjoyable for everyone and I hope everybody sticks around.

They probably will and they might not get holiday time until they have been there for a year. I know that is how it worked in the business - that is, the office world. But since I heard that Target is a good place to work, there will not be any problem.

This is great that your company has, hired more people so that the work, on your job can get done faster, looks like your company cares about you, and how that work is getting done, and they see that there are not, enough people in your department to get the work done on time, I am really glad you like your job, you don't heard that too much, there are a lot of people who don't like their jobs.

You are right that not a lot of people will say that they like their job. This is actually a first job that I have worked that I said that I like I guess that is why I am working so hard at keeping it.

So that means, more efficiency with the work that you have, considering the additional members of the team. Good luck! I hope that you all get along real fine so that the workplace is a happy place for all of you.
