Yeah thanks! Before,I tried the unionbank card that mentioned here but I could not login to its online transactions site so it was pretty much just a regular atm card and I no longer use it today I still do have a smart money card here, also mentioned above, I havent tried it yet, but I hope a fellow Filipino can confirm if it really does work with Paypal Philippines.

Yes, I have tried linking it with Smartmoney last year. There's a 200PhP charge for activating it. That fee will be returned to your Smartmoney account once you're done with the activation via PayPal and text message.

I have linked my Eon card to verify my PAypal account, havne't made transfer from paypal to eon yet because of the fee. I know that the fees now are a lot lower compared to many years back, and i hope it will get lower still. Sighs!

Hi daydreamer! I used smart money to verify my account but I withdrew my earnings to my LBP account. I also have known about EON card lately. Have a nice day!

I think it is not allowed to transfer money from Paypal to smart money (I am not so sure about this info). LBP stands for Land Bank of the Philippines.

I have heard several Filipinos who have used Smart Money in linking it to their Paypal accounts and said that they worked fine. But what I did was opened an Eon Account, instead coz I have been informed by a friend that it is more reliable.

When I was still in the Philippines, I used my BDO credit card to link it with my paypal account. Then BDO offered me a virtual card to link it to. This way, my real credit card details are protected. The virtual credit card is connected to my credit card but I can approve which transactions are going into it. That way, if ever my paypal account was hacked, it will not directly go to my savings account. Just my credit card which I can dispute and not pay in case of malicious or fraudulent use.
