Our total family commonly used to cook tomato everyday in somewhat way.
My mother sometimes uses tomatoes for making soup.
My spouse used to take for cook as chutney.
We are getting one kilograms of tomatoes for amount of rupees ten only in the market.
Because of it's chief price, we always use it daily...
I have few doubts about this vegetable item...
In what way we will be benefited by making use of this dish?
Are there any useful vitamins in tomatoes?
Is there any availability of minerals some?
Are there any side effects by using them daily in making food items?...

Tomatoes may prevent cancer and reduce the risk of heart disease. It contains beta carotene and lycopene. Lycopene is an anti oxidant that turns fruit aand vegetables orage-red, it removes the free radicals from our body. It is also good for skin.

I have read that to get anything like the full benefit of tomatoes in terms of lycopene you need to cook them, and make sure you eat the skin - peeled tomatoes are not a good idea.
There are stories about tomatoes also containing solanine, which would be bad news, but this is disputed. In any case, the levels are not likely to be high, but it's as well not to go completely overboard on tomatoes. They also contain oxalate, but levels don't seem to be more than for many other foods.

Tomatoes are a good source of lycopene, an antioxidant. Lycopene is being studied as a preventative measure against cardiovascular disease and certain types of cancer. A number of studies show that men who get more lycopene in their diet have less risk of prostate cancer (info from bhia.org). Fresh tomatoes and tomato extracts have been shown to help lower total cholesterol, LDL cholesterol and triglycerides (from whfoods.com) They are a good source of Vitamins A, C, K, folate and potassium. Tomatoes provide thiamin, niacin, Vitamin B6, magnesium, phosphorous and copper. They contain beta-carotene which helps protect the skin against sun damage (from beliefnet.com). And there are even more benefits from tomatoes than those I've mentioned. As for side effects, if you were to eat 10 tomatoes a day you would exceed your Vitamin A upper limit, which could cause nausea and headaches, according to the Linus Pauling Institute.

I leave out the tomato in any dish. It's because for my blood type tomatoes is not recommendable to eat. I do read that tomatoes has lycopene.

I only use tomatoe for cooking before and never eat fresh ones, but my husband eats a lot and makes a salad and slowly I got used to it. I noticed that it's really true that it makes your skin healthier, I got my skin smoother and don't have dandruffs anymore and it also helps my hair stops falling.
