I guess this depends on how you personally define success. Have you had any success as a musician and do you have any good tips for an upcoming DIY artist?

Yes this something that one should work on, on his/her own in the end. I have to some extent made a little bit of success when it comes to being a musician. It requires a lot of patients and practice. Seeking help from professionals helps as well. You must also be willing to accept the little mistakes that comes a long when you are trying to be successful. Just follow your heart and try to give your best performance always.

I agree, time and patience is definitely required and the advice of a professional should always be taken seriously. I think it's the little things, like you mentioned, which puts people off or gives them self-doubt.

Funny you should mention that, I've actually just started offering music courses in my city, at schools and colleges. I also aim to play some gigs and maybe form some college bands in order to put on shows.
