Today I replaced a light switch and fixed the heater in my parents house. Otherwise they would call an electrician for such a simple task. Was glad I could help. Are you the type who can do home improvement and repair stuff? What's the thing you're the most proud for in this area and did you cause any disasters?

I'm totally not the type to repair things on my own. If something breaks in my house then I better stay out of it. Sometimes I am the main reason it broke... My mom is the same as me. We keep blaming each other for all broken things in our house. Thank God for our neighbor who is my mom's friend. That woman can really do magic with our stuff. She already repaired so many things in our house. And always that broken thing turned out to be something trivial.

I used to do a lot of things at home. I sew, knitted and did many crafts untel my eyes got too old. I painted my house, did carpentry and the like too. I made my own garden and designed my kitchen furniture. That way I saved a lot because I had everything precut and only had to get someone to asemble them. But now I have little energy and I miss doing more things at home.

I haven't fixed many things on my own yet, but I'm proud of something I helped fix. A car with water in the engine.
