Why did US and UK helped the Arabs during the the Six-Day War in 1967?

During the six-day war between Israel and the Arabs, USS Liberty was picking up Israeli military communications relaying them to Britain’s giant computer installation on Cyprus, from which complete maps were generated and sent to the Arab armed forces, giving them information of Israeli troop positions and movements that could have prolonged the war at great cost of lives or even caused an Israeli defeat. What I knew was that the US and UK are allies of Israel. What do you think is the role of US in the Biblical prophecy especially that I've never read America mentioned in the unfulfilled Bible prophecies (only Europe, Middle-East, and Asia)?

where did you get the information on the us helping the arabs during the war... If Israel would have asked the US for help we would have gone in and helped them...but they did not need any help....... Bible prophecy and the united states....we will have to wait and see if we will play a roll because like you said the US is not named.

The discussion I've written above was not based from an official article/report of the US government. Much more it's a conspiracy which I got primarily from Dave Hunt, supported by the works of John Loftus and Mark Aarons.

Oh my gosh! I didn't know this! Yes it's all part of the western world's slide into curses. (Though I hope it's not true! Especially of the U.S. what with being a U.S. citizen and hoping to preserve the segment which is Christian for as long as possible / 50%? but slipping along with all the world toward another "hour of darkness".) - Yes, this nation changed an awful lot in the 60's. Now look at us! It's a good thing God was on her side, Israel, in that 6 day war. I know she was surrounded by a number Arab and Middle East nations and they were gleefully communicating back and forth how they were going to so happily slaughter and annihilate Israel. That's when Israel won those critical disputed areas the Western Bank and the Gaza Strip, or won them back I should say, from Jordan and from Egypt. I heard when the Palestinian folks who had been living peacefully with Israel in Israel heard of this coming wonderful annihilation, they quietly left and thus are some still outside of Israel. Yes, although tiny Israel could absorb millions of Jewish folk exiled from Arab nations, the small 'Palestinian' population which moved outside of Israel were refused any absorption at all from any of the huge Arab nations. And of course this growing and restless crowd fermenting right outside of and toward Israel, has come in very handy to these same nations and has worked very well for their propaganda machinery. We can see how more often than not most of the world, even the western (once) Christian based world sides with Palestine and with folks who'd just soon saw off your head as look at you. All goes to show that "the god of this world" still despises the tiny sliver of Israel (and Christianity too of course, which will according to Bible prophecy find the same sword aimed toward them as is so often aimed at Israel - Rev 20:4b. I'm looking for a scripture verse which shows the marriage or infiltration of a world governing-Rev 13;1-10, with this Rev 20:4b monster.. I call it the dove riding a donkey alliances with the buzzard.) We know one day the world's armies will surround Jerusalem. We can see that shaping up quite well. Every time Israel tries for peace, gives concessions, even land, homes and businesses, it's not what's really wanted. Nothing will suffice except to fulfill that long cherished dream of slaughter. - Have you ever listened to Walid Shoebet (I think I got that right, maybe not). He is ex Muslim, was surprised to find Muslim the opposite of Christianity, which now he espouses and teaches to us silly westerners Bible prophecy so plain to him, as he can see in the one faith God has become the devil, evil good, etc, etc.. Our anti-Christ, their Mahdi.. About the U.S. in Bible prophecy, I won't say much as I've been such a blabber mouth thus far. But doncha think rev chapter 12, verse 14, may very well be the U.S. (minus any of the ways in which she goes wrong, or has gone wrong). - If verse 5, the manchild, or the male child who will rule all nations with a rod of iron/unbreakable law(ps 2:9?) and who was "caught up to God and His throne, also verse 5 (Heb 1:3?) is the "Son of man". And if Rev 12, verse 4, the part where the dragon stands before the woman in order to devour her male child, the manchild, as soon as he is born, was carried out through that loveable (not!) character Herod, at the slaughtering of the innocents as it's called, then perhaps said verse Rev 12:14(13), is a second migration. (The 1st having occurred at/from 70A.D) - The 2nd migration could read somewhat like this: (13)the dragon enraged after war in heaven and finding himself no longer allowed access to heaven (Jesus was crucified, etc, half the battle is done, or all depending on how we look at it). Enraged the dragon again persecutes (inquisitions) the woman (14) but she is given the two wings of an eagle to fly (sail?) to a place free from the face of the dragon for three and one half (modern) divisions of time... [ After which, verse 15, the serpent(guise of the dragon) spews filth/vomit after the woman in order to wash her off the face of the earth, but the earth (will) swallow the flood (Lk 23:31?)- then the dragon will turn his attention (back to) her other offspring, who keep the commandments of God and hold to the testimony of Jesus(by now?! Mt 23:39?).] -- I've recently come across a popular and perhaps currently growing teaching which interprets this chapter way differently, but personally, I just can't see it. [And also even with conventional Bible prophecy view, I think we still have some of Bible prophecy a little off.. there's 'locks' which obscure the vision(s) "for a time".] Oh dear, I still did rather babble on didn't I?

I found a hard time understanding your response and I'm not sure if I got correctly what you mean. I don't think that a true Bible believing Christian nation (who knows that position of Israel) will ever aim her sword towards Israel. Unfortunately, there is not a Christian nation anymore. I don't think that the US is the one mentioned in Rev. 12:14 because the US is not qualified according to verse 17.

If US helped the Arabs to attack Israel during the six days war in 1967 like you said, you probably will not see the state of Israel continue to exist in the world map as the smallest country in Middle East. Because both are ally, the Arabs can't get any help from US at the height of that war even though they threaten to cut off the oil supply to US, and did so after that.

It was clear that the USS Liberty was helping the Arabs during the six-day war. The US and UK are not involved in the war. Then what on earth is an American ship doing in the coast of Israel? Israel did not ask for help yet an intelligence ship was monitoring their military positions.

Base on the happenings, I supposed to believe that the Role of the US (America) in the World based on the Bible would be the Dragon in Rev. 12. Yes, this might be sweeping guess or unfair because US is not mentioned in the Bible. However, the fact that America is trying to control the world Economically, Culturally and even Religiously, which in effect deteriorates most valuable cultures of the natives. America is gradually devouring the delicate gems of other nations which are beginning to flourish. What can you say?

If you consider verse 17, I don't think US is qualified for verse 14 (Rev. 12).
