hi to all,me and my sister planned to apply DSL line at home but when we went to the office of the service provider to apply, they checked my name and i am qualified because no record found, and when they checked my address, they found out that my address is blacklisted because the old tenant who lived in my address before,we were sad because we can not apply without the certification from our barangay that we are only new tenant there.
are you a blacklisted?or is your address is blacklisted?how do you do remedy for that if you want to apply some services such as postpaid plan internet/mobile phone?

Hi there... these companies would do this to be sure that you are not being used by the same people who had the address blacklisted in the first place. It should be easy if you want to apply... just get the certification that the company was requesting from you and you should do just fine.
As for me... o have never had such as an experience. Luckily the addresses we used and declares when applying for a service. We have so far transferred to about four different service address and thank God all of them have clear records and were not blocked. So applying for landline or for a broadband service was easy.

That is sad. I have never heard of that before. Really, but I do hope you get that cleared up so that you can apply and have no problems.

I've never heard of an address being blacklisted, only a person because of their actions. I'm not sure what you can do but I would do something. Hopefully there is a way to get your address removed from this blacklist. A proof of residency and a letter of good standing from your landlord or somebody would probably help. The person that lived there is long gone, so should be their bad deeds.

I have never experienced the same. But if the issuance of a barangay clearance is the only way to clear it up, then you should secure one. It is not difficult to get one from the barangay.

So sorry to hear that, I know the inconvenience this has brought you but don't worry, you can do something about it. I am sure that your barangay will not refuse to issue you a certification of being the new residents of that address. I am sure that you can support this with proof of your employment and compensation. Since they do background investigation for new applicants, I am sure that they will find out that despite the address being the same, the residents in it are not and that you are in no way connected or related to the old tenants who defaulted on their account.

Hi ! No problem here , so easy to do , go to your the Baranggay office ask for a certification for your residency there , but be sure to present a resident certificate , this is one proof that you are living in that area and it says details about you also.
