Hi all :)
Long time no posts from me..
Today i got late for lunch as i had some work to complete. So i and my friend went to our cafetaria and i thought 'Let's try milkshake today'.
I ordered my Apple Butterscotch milkshake soon thereafter and my friend had Cad-B. I always loved butterscotch flavor. I don't know why i am attracted to that taste so much but i don't try flavors like Vanilla and all as they are very common..
So my milkshake came. It was neither yellow nor light brown which i thought, would be like more of a butterscotch colour. But this was something different. Thank goodness this difference was just in colour. Lol.
Taking each siip so carefully to avoid even just a drop to spill out..haha..i love it so much. And i was afraid i would empty it before i could even remember how it tasted like. Lol.
So i drank some 2 glass of water and then enjoyed my Apple Butterscotch milkshake with fun.

Butterscotch flavor reminds me of my childhood. Butterscotch powder was one of the things my mother would buy from the Watkins man when he made his trips around to the farms to sell his wares.

No, that was another way of life. There are no more peddlers going from farm any more for several reasons. The farms are larger now. Thus the houses are farther apart. When the Watkins man and other such went from farm house to farm house peddling their wares, The farm wife stayed home, usually without transportation to go to the store to buy the things she might need. Even if the family truck was left at the house, and she were able to drive it, the dutiful wife would not leave her post. She had work to do and had to be available in case the man of the house needed help. The arrival of the peddler with his wares was a welcome break from her isolation. The demise of the rural peddler and of the family farm is a sad story.

Mmmmmm....butterscotch. That use to be my favorite years ago. I still love it. When I was a kid all the other kids would be eating chocolate or strawberry but I always wanted butterscotch. And butterscotch pudding was my favorite. These days I prefer vanilla. But it has to be very strong vanilla taste. Butterscotch is my second favorite. Your milkshake sounds delicious. I WANT ONE!!!! Maybe I'll go to the store later and get a milkshake but I never heard of that kind around here. I could make my own I suppose but don't know how I would get apple flavor in it. But I could make a vanilla-butterscotch milkshake. That sounds good.
I have a question about what your friend had. What's Cad-B? I never heard of that before.

Yes, we both love butterscotch! I had to say years. That's when it was my favorite. I could say "that was my favorite yesterday but just this morning I changed my mind. I love vanilla now".
I guess "years ago" is a phrase people start to use when they, ahem, have a lot of years behind them. (I'm trying to avoid saying words like "old" or "older".) You're not making it easy.
Anyway, no apple flavor? Well that's good because I can't figure out how I would get it in there. LOL Coffee I don't like but chocolate strips?
Me too.

Cool! See our likes are the same too. Again you brought up your old thingy saying 'years'. Lol.
There was no apple flavor in it. Just butterscotch. It was just a name i guess.
Cad-B is a new item in our cafetaria. I also had it for the first time. Its like chocolate milkshake. But kind of tastes like cold coffee too. Anyway the fun part is, it had chocolate strips on top

I remember once in a bazaar I had a homemade ice cream that is butterscotch flavored. I have forgotten the name of the stall and the owner. We have actually walked a long ways off from where we bought the ice cream so we can't possibly have it again.

Yeah try it once. It didn't have any apple flavor though. I guess it was just its name..
