Meat is a good source of protein. However, we should also take it with just enough amount of serving everytime. Coz anything that exceeds the usual will always be bad for our health. The fat in the meat could lead to clogging of arteries that may lead to some health issues like increase cholesterol and high blood pressure.

Hi,Tushavi.I'm not a vegetarian but I prefer vegetables to meat. Most of the time I eat vegetables and sometimes I eat some chicken, beef and fish.Pork is what I dislike.Anyway,I'm healthy enough. My father loves meat just like you. However,he has high blood pressure and hyperlipoidemia. You can try to eat more vegetables because they have nutritions that you need.Be happy and healthy!

i could say that eating of meat is not that bad in our health but we should never eat meat everyday,we only need to eat meat sometimes to develop our muscle and make it more stronger, fruits and vegetables are more nutritious and more healthy for our body.

I am non-veg turned to vegetarian these days...actually years anything when you exceed or don't eat the proper way can be bad for health...like even if u r vegetarian, if u eat too much of fried stuffs, you can gain a lot of fat as compared to a non-vegetarian person...what my experience is once in a week non-veg is ok...and that too should also not contain too much of oil and spices...

Although the vegetables and fruits are supposed to good for the health. However, I don't think the vegetarian diet will be the best for the health. I always think the balanced diet is better. Namely more vegetable and fruits but you still have to eat some meats. I don't think meats are harmful. On the contrary, it gives you a lot of nutrition.

Humans have been eating meat since the discovery and controlled use of fire, 500,000 or more years ago. Therefore it could be said,"Humanity evolved eating meat!" If meat was harmful to humans in any respect, we would not have evolved as meat eaters. It makes no difference how you enjoy your steak, rare, medium or well done, You can be sure its good for you!

I really don't know what is good and what is bad for out health. One day the experts are saying one thing and the next day they're saying something else. I like meat, vegetables, and fruits. I even like the vegetables cooked.

Yes, too much meat can be bad for you. It is said that a person should have a 6 oz serving of meat per meal. Even for me I think that is too much but I'm not a big red meat eater. I think it's more you need a balanced diet because all your food together help break them down better. You need your starches and roughage to process what you've eaten. I too prefer raw vegetables over cooked or steamed for the most part is they retain more of their vitamins.

I think that we need to have a balanced meal so that we can get all the nutrients and minerals needed to maintain a healthy body. Too much of everything is not good but similarly, we can not do without some completely. Meat is not bad for health. But we need the vegetable and cereals too.

I dont think that too much is bad for your health as you say humans are designed to eat other meats, but like everything else it has to be part of a balanced diet or else it can become unhealthy. If you don't like vegtables or fruits you can take vitamin tablets and that can your body the vitamins it needs for a stable diet. I must admit that I to like to eat meat its one of my favorite types of food so I don't see much wrong in eating too much. meT

Anything of too much is bad. And if that is all you eat, then it is considered as too much.

I like meat especially beef. People at home like pork and chicken because it's easier to prepare. At times it gets boring. I have read that cancer can actually be aggravated by eating more meat than more vegetables.

Hi, I don't think meat is bad for health. On the contrary, I find people who like eating meat are healthy. My family like eating meat, we just avoid eating fat meat, or it will do harm to our health.
