My parents went on several cruises in their times. I was invited many times to go with them. I never did.
I wish I had.
Have you gone on cruise in a ship?
After seeing the news this week about the carnival cruise ship problems.
I think I dont want to take one now.
How do you feel about ship cruises?
Have a great sat. there....

I have never been on a cruise and to be honest would never want to, for me they are floating prisons, I just don't like the feeling of being trapped for so long, with nothing but sea. The longest I have ever been on a boat was 4 hours and that was gruelling, seeing everyone being ill, with the rough sea, ewww no thank you. Even on planes I am funny. Besides cruises take you mostly to hot countries and I don't like the heat!

This is probably part of my bucket list. I want to go on a cruise, enjoy the entertainment, the luxury room, the food, and of course the stops in few countries. I'd really love to do this. This may be probably perfect for a honeymoon getaway. I am not getting married any soon. But I guess this would be a good choice for a newly wed. Although there are risks but I think everything has a risk in it. I will pray that when it's my time to ride on a cruise, it will be smooth sailing, free from any disaster. Don't give up on riding a cruise. I think it will be a very wonderful experience. Especially if you can afford it, try it.

I am dreaming for an Asian and European Cruise. I'd really like to explore Asia first because
of its rich culture, people, and the wonders nature created. If you like to go to Alaska, then go. If you really want that that much, you really have to find ways to make it happen.

If you like to travel the seven sea in a big size ship, and enjoy several thousand people accompany you in your vacation very day, then i guess going on a cruise ship tour is the right one for you especially when you can afford the ticket price. Don't let the recent incident bother you too much, it may not be the norm in this industry to have incident like this annually except only happen to some less reputable and scummed carnival cruise ship owners that fail to provide good service after received the money. It is still advisable to check out the record of the cruise ship you intend to take for your tour, so that you can sail through the seven sea in good hand, I'm sure there is no lack of reputable cruise ship out there for you to consider and provide an enjoyable trip to its passengers and guests, you just have to do your homework before enroll yourself for any carnival cruise ship tour.

I will not try to stop you from enrolling yourself in the carnival cruise tour to Alaska or Florida, i can only wish that you pay more attention to the reputation of this cruise ship, check on its past record on customers satisfaction, safety and services rating, instead of only base on the price tag as the sole criteria for your carnival cruise-ship tour, only those lower price that come also with good customer service and good safety record worth your trip, not just the $$ sign so that you can enjoy the whole journey till the end of the trip, not for the first or second days only.

your right.. many cruises from mexico arent that high priced. 7-10 days for 399.00 to alaska, florida doesnt seem that high to me. All meals areincluded.

Problem is most ships that leave Mexico are only carnival ships.

I have ben on a cruise ship once. It was the Carnival Fantasy cruise. It was pretty cool I have to say. Different really. I know they have been in the news lately with problems. But you could always go on a small cruise, like just a few days. They have everything you could ever want on them. And the food is totally out of this world. And they have tons of food and deserts.

I have never been on one and I really want to go...it's on my bucket list.
I have asked my younger daughter and she wants to go too so next year we will tour the South Pacific...unless she decides she wants to go somewhere else.
I'm going to Vietnam with my other daughter in a couple of months so it's all happening.

I have never been on a cruise, but I have had vacations aboard a yatch in the Caribbean. It is quite different though. A cruise is like being in a luxury hotel at the sea. On the other hand, what I did included learning how to do some sailing, cooking a bit for the rest of my friends and making our own drinks while we watched the dolphins play near us.

I have been on 2 cruises and I love them. One of them was Carnival and the other was on Princess. Of course, my husband says that what happen on the Carnival cruise ship could happen on any cruise line or ship but it sure makes you think about taking a cruise for awhile.

Usually in my mind, cruise ship is amazing, but there is one thing,if the weather is not good, then may be people will feel uncomfortable in the ship,so I think before you take the cruise ship you need to pay attention to the weather forecast first.
Have a good trip!

Maybe if I have lots of money I will consider going for a cruise.. I love to do it with my family.. it would be a great time for bonding and to unwind from a stressful environment we have., but I know it is expensive so for now it is just a dream.. anyways I have a brother who works in a cruise ship and I heard a lot of good stories about it.

I have never been on a cruise ship before, but me and my husband wants to experience being in one. With the current incident about the carnival cruise ship, it does somehow dim my high expectations for a cruise. I guess we will need some convincing that the cruise ship, if ever we happen to finally join one, does have its well-laid out crisis management plan and a very executable option should an emergency arise.
