Ever since the eighties, I have witnessed the incorporation of computers into daily life. Computers open the world to our businesses, job opportunities, and social lives. A lot of people can't see life without them. Some people never knew life without them. I am thinking how people can be more productive in today's job market. As computers work for us as we work with them, I consider an old school method. There is never a substitute for hard copy. Computers leave information open to viruses and other insecurities. Perhaps the art of record keeping and preserving should be an option. Methods of keeping records organized and well kept is still a great idea.

I couldn't agree more. You are right. I guess it only says that every aspect has its pros and cons. The best method will always be to keep a hard copy and a soft copy. So that when one fails, there is still a method to obtain the information.

I am so glad you agree. We never really think about these things until we need them. Sometimes we are allowed to keep our hard copy records, and sometimes we are not. The issue is to keep records of our lives proactively. I can't keep my original medical records, but copies will suffice and knowing where the originals are is important.
