We had a discussion about law and justice last time in our philosophy class and our teacher made mention about the irony of it. As defined by our handout, law is simply a means of offering justice to victims. However, as we can see, justice is now a mastery of the WRITTEN laws and finding holes in order to win cases/debates. Its not how justice is delivered but how can one can escape the law.
So where is justice there?

Thanks a ton for sharing this discussion. Yes u are absolutely right, laws and order are created so that people would get justice if anything wrong happens with them but when the law and order of a country fails to provide justice to its citizens then what could be expected. people would obvious flout the rules and have no fear in them about this. so if laws are strengthened then only people would come back to their paths.
What say?
