Back in 4th grade (which is about 14 years ago), my teacher gave the class a poem to read. I can't remember if it rhymes or not. The poem made me cringe. It was so close to reality. Heck it was written because of a reality. The poem goes about the destruction of the earth, in reverse order of how God created the world. since man was the last created, it was how man destroyed the world. The ending was there was darkness.. I've been trying to find that poem for years now. does anybody know it's title, or the poet, or even exact lines from the poem itself so I can google it properly? Thanks

The only one I found appears to be too recent for what you described and does not mention factories directly. Anyway, if you are interested, it can be found here: http://www.scribd.com/doc/30172684/reverse-creation

Thanks. I found this too. Though I have a feeling that this might be it.. I still think there's this gut feeling that this isn't it. The manner of writing is very close to what I can remember. Thanks for this.
