our cable makes me lazy

we already had cable last Sunday and as i always said to my previous response to others discussion that i don't much watching in televisions but because we already had cable at home there a lot of channels and yes HBO channel in cable makes me lazy because when the movie is nice i will seat for how many hours and watch the movie.i am not that addicted but it will surely makes me lazy.

What's wrong with relaxing? If you are watching cable instead of doing what you're supposed to do (like everybody else) then you should limit yourself to how much you watch a day. Set the timer and when it goes off, get up and start doing what you should be doing. I like watching movies but I'll generally do it in the evening since I'm done with my daily work.

That is a great idea for people who get hypnotized by the TV and never get up to do chores or even to go to sleep at a reasonable hour. Sleep timer is on most modern TV that shuts the TV off.

I like having TV on for a distraction, but I don't actually sit still and watch except for 1 soap. Too much TV watching can cause weight gain from inactivity. I just like the noise while I stay kind of busy.

With so many channels to choose from, you'll surely turn into a couch potato. When we had our cable tv years ago, I was just like that. But I had other activities like spending time with friends that i didn't get much hooked or lazy in front of it. Love HBO and Star Movies!

I know how that is. Just this weekend, me, my niece and my mother in law have done nothing but watch cable TV. We sat for hours and watched about 4 movies. It's their fault! Lol. It made us more like lazy tabbies in a couch. We have lots of things to do but none of us actually get to doing it. And now, I have 2 weeks' worth of laundry all because of cable TV

TV are giving so much effect to ourself, not just movie will make us stay front tv without doing anything, wrestling also giving this influence to a kids that know nothing as they will copy how they act to their siblings or friends we;ll that's how a big influence of tv to us
