My botfriend has a very poor eyesight, he was not wearing any contacts nor glasses before and his eye grade was 250 and 275. He asked me if it'd be okay to use contacts. I told him that a friend of mine has been in contacts all through her poor vision life. To make the story short, we end up in EO(Executive OPtical) to have his eyed checked and buy contacts for him. Everytime the lens expires and buy a new one his grades are elevating! a year ago it was 275-300, and then 300-325 and it's freakin us out! I thought he's going blind soon. And we decided to buy glasses instead because some say it corrects sight to clearer one. Now he's on glasses, no more contacts as I avoided him to, I hope its somehow a bit convenience wearing than contacts, All I care is how he feels about anything, if he likes contacts, as his family teases him to look older than their father, then i understand but im terribly worried. Or glasses, which Im more in favor with, is fine with me,too.
Anybody?? Which is better contacts or glasses?

GLASSES....
medical wise I think glasses are way better than contact
but if you are more of a fashion concern type,, well you should do for CINTACT LENSES.... but the disadvantage of using it is it's more prone to irritations and can also lead to severe complications.
WHy not try.... LASER treatments it's a little expensive but yet effective... but I think it only last for a year or two,, you can consult the optalmologist about it.

I'm use glasses I heard many people said that if using contact lens will give some side effect like power of your eyes will going higher also it's kinda hard to take care of, you can't rub your eyes if it's itchy, if you easy to forget then better just use glasses

Side effects? yes its evident as my bfs grade increases and was worsened. Im just thankful i have good vision. Lets take good care of our eyes and every parts of our body. Eat healthy Live healthy. :)

well eyes also being said as one of gen problem, even you really take care your eyes, if your mother or father are using spectacles then you will probably using it also, btw I have mom using spectacles also a sister that using spectacles since her age is 9 now she looks like a blind person when she took out her spectacles she can't see anything even if she's taking bath she want to use her spectacles, her right eyes power is 750 and left eyes is 650. Thank God my eyes not that bad

I use both contact lenses and glasses. Whenever I am out and about, I wear contacts because it is easier to move plus I have had instances wherein someone would bump into me and knock off and shatter my glasses. Then there's also an incident that I just reached out to tuck a hair behind my ear and I accidentally knocked off my glasses and broke it. But I change into eyeglasses when I got home and when I am not going anywhere. Just to give my eyes some rest. Contact lenses may or may not have side effects depending on the condition of the eyes of the user. But more importantly, clean handling of the contacts must be exercised at all times.

Yes, youre right contacts is his choice actually but in his kind of job, it doesn't come in handy where its demanding speed like first thing in the morning, he's to attend a car problem, I suggested to use glasses at work and wear contacts occasionally only like when he goes to see a friend or attend a gathering, or travel.. Thanks btw :)
