Activities in the winter

My little one seems to like the activities I've come up with as we'll as her big cousin. We have done played with whip cream and didn't whip cream art. We tried pudding art today. They have mad a magic bottle which kepted both busy for a while. Been trying to find new things to do with them very day in the house. We made foam s'mores the day before today. When the weather gets warm again we are going to do slime and play with it outside. I found a whole bunch of stuff online.

I think that it is always great to have a variety of different activities that we can do with our children, especially during the winter when the weather tends to prohibit the amount of time that we and our children are able to spend outside.
When Paul was littler, I was a member of a couple of different playgroups in the area and it never did cease to amaze me some of the neat activity ideas that the other parents came up with to participate in with their own children and the families of friends as well.

I try to find things both a 5 year old and a 2 year old can enjoy together or even on there own. I look online a lot to find things for them to do so they can do different things other then doing the same thing all day every day.

when my kids where little, we used to build tents out of furniture and blankets. they absolutely loved doing that and it kept them busy for hours. i also did a lot of crafty stuff with them because i used to lead crafts at church around the same time. they also used to like to colour and draw.

My daughter likes to color. She just learned this month to enjoy painting so that is her new thing she likes to do is paint and play with her food. I find new things online all of the time to try with the kids. We just tried melting cryons and my daughter seemed to like it. I'm going to try to get them both my daughter and nephew to make there our art bags.
