Apparently rumor has it that there is to be a star wars 7 with harrison ford reprising the swashbuckling han solo in the original movie and rumor has it that mark hamill and carrie fisher as well - luke skywalker and sister princess leia -, the original cast, although they will be , in their 60s or 70s, but still it will be interesting i think to see wht the writers will come up with, a bunch of old JEDI geezers traipsing the universe and still doing battle, for what it is worth i will really love to see the aged trio make a comeback and even for Han Solo to go out in a blaze glory as heros do,he was my favourite character in the franchise . or the sibling JEDI skywalkers after defeating the empire , it will be difficult to continue from the ending of Return of the Jedi but maybe many years later Luke and princess Leia will have a new brood of young Jedi to train like Yoda did with Luke... I still remember where i was and how old and how much fun i had watching the , at that time spectacular Sci Fi special effects..which looks primitive now compared with CGI but the movies bring back a flood of nolstagia of when i was in my teens.. i hope the as yet unsubstantiated rumors turn out true and it will mean a next trilogy, that will be fun to watch , with the original characters and new ones to continue the franchise.

It is really nice remembering such a wonderful movies. You can just imagine how wide is the imagination of the author and the ingenuity of the mind of the director and all the casts to interpret.

I love to read Sci FI and Sci Fantasy as in the case of star wars, love how the movies just open up the imagination of what is possible in the universe, going from planet to planet like commuting in light speed.

I heard they were making another one, but I thought it was with a totally different cast. But if it's in the future from the first three movies (numbered 4 - 6 lol), then I could see those three doing cameos in the new movie.

I did read that Harrison Ford has jumped on and Mark Hamill and Carrie Fisher is in talks.i will love to see all three reunion in seventh sequel, grew up watching them making things right in the universe , may the force bring them back in celluloid, never mind their aged appearance, it ll feel like a old friend reunion with me just watching them reprise their roles.i ll be the first in line at the ticket booth.

I"ve read where Disney is taking over the Star WArs franchise. I never liked any of the movies but they remind me of when my son was little they were his favorite movies and probably still are.

I have heard the same thing that in 2015 there will be a 7th star wars movie. I would like to see how they do with it and what happens next. Would love to see what has happened to luke lea hans. See if they have kids or are teaching others the way of the jedi. I absolutely loved the original 3 movies and luke was one of my favorites. I was just a kid when the first one came out but i remember seeing all 3 of them in theaters an then see the 20th anniversary editions in theaters as well. Jedi geezers lol that was funny. Han is the only one i can think of that will be in his 70's. Luke and lea are in their mid 60's but still geezer enough i guess lol. I'm very interested in how the next movie will come out and what kids today this generation will think of it. Maybe they need to see all 6 movies first lol.

Yeah I just saw an add on Sony Max or some movie channel aired in India promoting the fact that they will be airing the six Star Wars movies on the channel March 7 onwards, every thursday or something like that. I had this distinct feeling or sense that maybe it is a follow up to some release of a new star wars movie. And I came out of the room with a smile on my face. These movies especially the ones with Luke Skywalker are as old as I am. I mean these are movies I remember as long as I remember watching movies. Star wars must have been one of the first movies that I have watched along with Bruce Lee and James Bond movies. It brings my childhood back. If they do bring back Han Solo, the Skywalkers, Jaba Jinks and all those characters, I dont care about the story or the cast, I am surely watching the movie.

Yea the formative years of my youth , Star Wars ,Guitar heroes, my heroes and idols were , Han Solo and Indiana Jones and Jimmy Page -Led Zeppellin, Deep Purple , a very young Eric Clapton and The Rolling Stones.even Air Supply was cool back then, best fun years of my life anyway , young carefree with the whole world still ahead and the burdens and stresses still few years away
