Busy day, strange weather

I had a busy day at work today.
I had to go to my client's bank and pick up some paper work and then make a copy and take it to a State office, then go pick up some medicine for her.
It was damp when I left for work about 8 a.m. but there was some sun. I knew it was supposed to clear up and get windy, so I was expecting the sunshine.
However, after I left my client's place to head to the bank, I noticed it was getting darker.
I looked south and there was this strange bank of clouds low above the Austin skyline looking very strange. It was like a straight line, and I couldn't tell where it ended, just south of downtown.
And the light was very weird.
I went into the bank and had to wait a few minutes before they opened, and it started coming down pretty hard, and the light got even weirder.
By the time I got done with the business at the bank, it had stopped raining so it hadn't rained long, maybe 15-20 minutes.
By the time I got the copies made, the sky was clearing and by the time I was headed back from picking up the meds it was nearly clear and the wind had picked up.
After I got back to my client's and fed her breakfast, I ended up going out again to exchange her cable remote because it was acting up. I hope it was just the remote, otherwise it is the cable box...
Still, I've got her paperwork ready for her doctor's appointment tomorrow, and I think we're as ready as we can be for this visit.
All this in 5 hours of work... and then I had to go to MY doctor's appointment this afternoon. I'm tired and hurting, but I think we'll survive this week - is tomorrow really Friday?

The weather has been strange all over the country. Here in the north it is in the 20's one day and then in the 60's. I just got approved to get home health care, I hope I get along with her as well as you and Maggie.

I was hoping you had taken a pic or two of the sky...
How are you and Maggie? How's that pain in your side?

I wish I could've, but highway driving isn't a good time to snap a pix...
Maggie has a doctor's appointment today (fun! fun! fun! (NOT)) and the pain is gone, never did figure out what it was - but now I get to have another MRI this one on my back!

Well, it is actually now Friday, so yes when you started this discussion tomorrow was Friday. I actually think everyone can relate with having the Strange weather, as look around you and what all the US has been experiencing for weather and all the different airports being closed from time to time. Makes you wonder what really is going on, and how do you ever know what to expect from day to day.

Hello dear.
Being on a different timezone means it has been Friday here for over 15 hours now (it's 3:30 pm). I am sick of the lack of light and bad weather - rains, clouds, dark days, come on Spring, where are you already, right ?
I have had days like that where I had to do so many things in such a short time that there was still half a day left and was already energy free for it. I think a good warm bath today with maybe a book from your favorites would help, and maybe a hot tea ?
Hope it will be better,
All the best,
Alex.

actually, it was Friday by the time I finished my discussion last night...
I don't really want spring to come, because then it will be summer and I'm not ready for those upper 30's and lower 40's (C) days, but when the sky looks strange like that, it can sometimes bring scary weather like a tornado - not yesterday, but...
I crawled off to bed with a few of the cats and went down pretty fast... still, I was up too late last night and I have another busy day today!

Hello dear.
Oh yeah, the 40's+ (C) are pretty nasty. Most funny moment in my "temperate" country was summer 2012 when in July there was an ecological summit on wetlands and anyway there was this African guy from on of the supposed to be hottest countries in the world and he was like' "Oh it's so hot here, hotter then home" so yes I don't miss that either. On the other hand, this will be the last summer I spend in Romania. I am moving with the wife in England in September, and summers there will be pretty cooled down - 20-25 degrees or so.

Today IS Friday now, and I´m awfully glad. This week has been a full week of having to run errands, and it will be a relief for it to be the weekend and not be able to!
We had rather peculiar weather yesterday too. When I first got up it was raining gently and looked like being a miserable day so I braced myself with an extra cup of tea. But it ended up beautiful. Then when I went to the end of the road to meet the school bus it started to drizzle and just after we reached the house it started to rain properly and then the heavens opened and we had a huge and unexpected thunderstorm that made me very grateful that I had been early putting the animals to bed otherwise I´d have been doing it in the rain.
