How far would you go?

How far are you willing to go? I watched a documentary several years ago where they talked about how many people have killed themselves by jumping off the Golden Gate Bridge. Apparently, when it comes to suicides by jumping off bridges, that is the most popular (at least in the US.). They actually had footage of people jumping. You know how they have video cams set up in multiple places to monitor cars or areas that need more coverage...? That's how they got the footage. Surprising to me was that so many of the jumps were in broad daylight. And several times as someone is standing on the edge, there are people on the bridge, taking photos are just walking. They all have several different reactions. One person looked like they couldn't tell if the guy on the bridge was really going to jump. They looked hesitant to say something. Another occasion the person physically pulled the person back over to the correct side of the bridge. I mean the good Samaritin was really strong and he pulled the guy over and held him until help could arrive. Another person, when she figured out the person was going to jump, it was obvious she was trying to talk him out of it, while calling 911 at the same time. He jumped anyway. But he actually, was the only one who survived of all the people who jumped.

nope I don't have the guts to jump off the bridge or use any means to kill myself. I don't care what anyone says it takes courage to kill yourself.

yes most people will not say that, they say what they think people want to hear.

For so many the Only way to make the pain stop is to kill themselves. They are not looking to be stopped. It doesn't matter if it is day or night.

Hard to say without actually being there. But I'd be afraid to touch them for fear of making them fall accidentally.

I think that we get a rush out of pushing ourselves to the limit to see where will draw the line. When isto far to gond w do we know we did not go far enough? I would go as far as excitement would take me. I would not feel comfortable doing something that could endanger my life or that of someone else.
