in touch with e-mail...

February 23, 2013 3:59am CST
Now a days with popularity of facebook, what I find is most of my acquaintances are least bothered about their e-mail ids and their sole purpose for creating e-mail id is for the creation of facebook or any other accounts. They are not in habit to check the mails regularly nor they send e-mails. But, I along with being on facebook use e-mail too as a means of conversations. But, only few of them reply to me. Are you sending informal mails to your friends or relative and are you in touch with mail?

correct, some people don't appreciate their email id's they don't know that one day if they need their account there is a possibility that the mail they needed to see is already in the middle of thousand mails.. or their account might suspended due to not open for long time.. take care pankajja

Thanks a ton for sharing this discussion. Yes u are absolutely right, people have stopped using the email that it was supposed to be. Rather they r creating it so as to enter the world of social networking sites. I still use my mail id to check my mails every day so that i do not miss out the important mails sent to me. What say?

Thanks for your agreement towards my discussion and I felt happy that you are not one of those people about whom I am talking about. You know these days when one sends an e-mail to other people he has to inform him about that through those social networking sites itself by message . And I know many people who even have forgot their e-mail password .

I guess this is an indicator of how times have changed. With the advent of Skype and video calling, people don't feel the need to send emails anymore myself included to quite an extent. I do send quite a few emails everyday but they're only official work related mails. The only time I use emails is when I want to send photos, documents or something else which can only be sent as an attachment. I do check on mails pretty regularly though. Sometimes I do get some interesting mails, sometimes good offers etc. which keep me interested.
