Man's Best Friend

We only have one dog a Saint Bernard and she is a big baby.

Hey.. Your dogs are really very sweet. You have also described it very sweetly even i can imagine it. They are very protective. Sometimes they also help us. Even we cant stay without them. I would pet my dog, but I do not want to be licked. I guess, I am not much of a dog lover. But I do care a lot for my dog. Our dog is a sweet dog. He would often call my attention when he is hungry. He would really tap my leg to let me know that he wants to be fed.

Aww, I can just imagine the precious dears! That is so cute and touching. You are lucky that your "best friends" have a very good disposition. I wish our old, grumpy dog wouldn't be so grumpy. But then he's really old and he's got lots of aches and pains already.

ahhh so sweet... that's so best friend at all... shitzus are sweet dogs I have maltese. he is very sweet too. May I introduce to you Bully, the maltipoo. Mixed breed of maltese and poodle. and yes he's sweet dog too because he is a toy dog breed. I think most toy dogs are sweet except pomeranians. I am not sure though. He is a mixed breed of maltese and poodle that makes him a mongrel. Maltese and Poodle breeds are highly trainable dogs. They are categorized as smart dogs. I agree! . I work and sometimes I cannot go to walk him out. I bring him out the house and run and play in yard, so I have no worries on cleaning his mess. . I trained him to poop and pee in the toilet. (of course not on the bowl at least on the shower part of the toilet) so cleaning is not a problem for he won’t poop just anywhere. In the house. He’s a male so it is but natural for male dogs to put his leg up to any “post-looking” even in the house like legs of chairs or table or sofa.. just anywhere, oh oh.. not my Bully, he never do that. Either he waits or he goes to the toilet to pee like female dogs hahahaha… He sleeps beside me too I gave him the space on my feet and space on my head, but most often time he wants to sleep beside me and sleep same direction as I sleep. Sometimes he gets down to his bed. So a few hours before bed time, I bathe him and brush his teeth too or if I am too tired, I just give him denta stick before we sleep. Hahaha.

Your dogs are so sweet the way you describe them, specially the shi-tzu :) I have a friend who also have a shi-tzu, she told me that whenever her best friend visits her at home, her dog would always hide at the corner. While the half of its face hidden, the other half is demonically observing her best friend's every moves. She said, it's so small, yet so protective :) I really want to have one someday, a shi-tzu, and a bigger dog as well!

Oh how cute is that! I have a male shih tzu who is will be 15 years old in June. He use to follow me in every room of the house. He would also bark if someone he didn't know came around me. We would also play a game my hubby and I with him. My hubby would act like he was attacking me and Cody would go crazy protecting me. To the point I think he would bite my hubby if I let him. Now that he is old he only sleeps, eats, and does his business. I miss those days when he was playful and so alert and crazy. Enjoy this time with your dogs before they age and act act and look like old men.
