I finally took time out to revise my budgets. I can see a light at the end of this tunnel. Especially if I make it through this next rough patch. I guess seeing all the debts written out with the sums makes it easier to realize it's not as bad as you think it is. I like to add up all the totals and divide it by number of checks that come into the house. It shows me how much money to spend out of each check. That number is less than the paycheck!! :) That always makes me feel better. It may take the whole year to pay IRS, but at least I know I can pay them. :) :) :) Now to deal with my son's g/f.....

True. It's one step at a time, and careful planning. It is important to have a goal, or else we can walk in circles.

For a while, I felt like it was spinning out of control. All the debt was getting bigger and bigger. In which, I was starting to have a panic attack. Now, that it's all been written down and I can see it, I feel a lot better. In 5 months time, I will see complete daylight, not just a candle flame. 8D

Thanks a ton for sharing this discussion. Well that is great to hear about your budget and calculations and i know that u must be happy with the outcome of the same. i think u should always see to it that things remain simple and straightforward otherwise it would put pressure on your monetary life.
What say?

I'm no longer stressing about how I'm going to get anything paid. I was able to get it all written out and figure out weekly payments. A lot more manageable that way. I'll still have money left over to feed the kids! :)

That's great! It can be such a long process to get there, but now that you know you can, it can really be motivating. And of course, other bits of money will hopefully come your way throughout the year, if you can make some money online or sell some stuff in a garage sale.
