I had to react here because I couldn't contain my reaction.
I just read from a student (former) posting in a social networking site complaining that teachers should reconsider them for not being able to read instructions properly (in an exam, I guess) because they are already too busy in other things (projects).
I think that's just absurd. If one can post in the social networking site, one can read instructions. Further, how does one forget to read it anyway? It's in the beginning of the paper and it's the most important thing there.
Whew! Kids these days are creating pathetic excuses more and more.. Whew!

Indeed, the statement she gave almost got me to raise a brow. I wanted to react but didn't want to because it'll just have more tensions. But yeah, kids these days think that their world is much more important. They feel stressed out when they even have time to go malling or just hanging out with friends.
Anyway, thank you for sharing, have a great mylot experience ahead!

Wow! the nerve of this student to even argue with this? I think that is really absurd... If i was the teacher of this student i might as well just give him a deduction all the more for not bothering to read an instruction. Why use other things they do like projects when projects are done and submitted separately, and exams taken at a certain time - all you have to do is to study and pass the exam... why, does this teacher let them do a project and take an exam at the same time?
Where is his mind? Has he lost it already? haha Im just pissed off reading this, That is simply laziness to not bother reading an instruction. Instructions are every where! Crossing the street, getting a cab, where the bus stops, what to do when you need to call a delivery for food... ah! its just as simple as that and they won't read it?! Its where their grades are dependent on. This student is just stupid!

i agree. the instructions are how you know what to write in the paper, in the first place. school can be very stressful, don't get me wrong. but, give me a break...

Students nowadays are too lazy to read even, some can barely open a book. sad sad sad.
