don't really need much of a guest room since we have no one around here that would come and stay with us. so i'm trying to come up with a different plan for the room. At first i thought toy room for my daughter but she hasn't really played with toys in the last 6 months or so. i keep moving the toys from house to house for no reason it seems. So what else to do with the room?

I have a three bedroom house here in Puerto Rico. One is a guest room for when family or friends come on vacation here. The other bedroom is an home office/bedroom. You could also use it as an exercise room or a library/reading room. You don't say how old your daughter is but it could also be used as a place for her to do homework or study for school.

maybe you could turn it into a creative room, like if you do art or something. if not, maybe you could turn it into an office and run your business from there.

Hello my dear,
First of all, some extra details about how many rooms and what they are used for at current would be helpful in suggesting stuff.
Until then you could study the hobbies of all house members and analyze if a common hobby room to host the required stuff for them would make sense.
You could rent the room if you transform it into a bedroom and live in a fairly safe neighborhood - that would bring a little extra monthly as well.

You could use it as a gym and equip it with all that is necessary. You could use it for meditation and yoga.

Do you have a home office there? Id make it into a small office to work from.

I use my spare bedroom as an office; actually I have never used it as a bedroom since I moved into this house. As it is currently there is not room in it for a bed. If your daughter has outgrown toys, she probably is using a computer. So it could be an office and computer room for the family. This might also make it easier to make sure she is being safe when, or if, she goes online and visits sites like Facebook, etc.
