This is what our other colleagues are thinking of especially those who are in our branches. Even though The owner give us the assurance that no one will be left behind and it will the same as it is, there are still some who are being realistic and worrying on things that might happened after. Some worries if we will start again to zero since our company and even the name will be change by May. So many queries and questions coming. We will be merging with same kind of business like us so work will just the same some got worried if their service will be needed.
Our investor already have the majority of the shares so once that we are in the new management they will have the right on things and changes that might happened, although the owner assured as that it will be as it is before, there still have some speculations running around.
For me, I'll just do my best in my work, taking one day at a time, open and looking forward for the changes. And being ready on possible things that might happened. Good luck us.

Some of your office mates are worrisome. That's maybe because they know that their job isn't that indispensable to the company.
But once they know that their job like yours is really indispensable and always work excellently, then there's no need to worry.

Somehow there are some worries about mine since Our kind of business are just the same. I also found out that they might be someone there that are doing same job as I am so there could be redundacy just like they mentioned before. But for me, I am confident in my ability and skills. I know my capabilities and confident that I am doing well in my job.

Although I do think that the fact that the supervisors have told you that you really don't have anything to worry about should mean that you are going to be able to keep your current job. However, there is that chance that they are just using that as a way of keeping the current employees in place during the time of the transition so that there will not be as much upheval as there could be otherwise.
I do think that your idea of taking one day at a time and doing the best job that you are able to do is the best way to go about things.

Yes maybe they just giving us assurance at first to pacify what the employees about the merging but once we are handled by the new management, they could have the chance and the right to do whatever they wanted even though the owner and our boss assured us that it would be the same.We are still praying and hoping that everything will be okay and fine but still preparing ourselves on possible things that might happened,

There is no use in worrying about the future. We must concentrate with our present work and avoid unwanted worries to acheive a lot in our life.

At some point you are right that we have just have to enjoy the present but there will alway time that we will think about whats gonna happened in the future so we could prepare enough when that time comes. What's important is what we have today and the present but I think there will be no wrong in thinking about the future as well.
