Fresh Ginger Tea

It's been about five years now since I used ginger tea as home remedy for simple itchy throat to a more severe coughing. Before I got into serious involvement with my own ginger tea recipe, my husband would always resort to antibiotics when his coughing becomes severe. I thought I'd something before his liver becomes very tired already from too much drugs taken by my husband just to get rid of discomforts and a lot of disturbances and embarassment brought about by too much coughing. Whenever I noticed he would seem to start having itchy throat, I would get fresh ginger, chop it thinly, place it in a casserole with 2 to three cups of water and bring it to boil. Two cups daily of boiled ginger - just that, and he would no longer need to take anti-cough and go on an antibiotic therapy. I have been doing this for years now. This time I modified it. Along with ginger, I would also put in "malunggay" leaves and now I call my tea ginger-moringa tea. :) If you need to go back to the basics and turn to nature when it comes to treating some inflammations, why not try this. Ginger has antibiotic properties. It is anti-inflammatory and can also ease arthritic events.

You're right, and I agree with you that ginger is often included as main ingredients to many of the most delicious foods I've ever tasted. Chinese cuisine is known for its use of ginger in their cooking.
