i have very curly, frizzy, thick hair. and i can never do anything with it but a pony tail and if i leave it down have to put a ton of gel in it so it's not so frizzy. I really wish i had straight hair. seems you can do so much more with it. i only have one style i can do. sick of it.

i like my curly hair but it does get frizzy too which i don't like so much but i generally put mousse in my hair and use lots of conditioner which helps a lot. i like straight hair but i like mine better. have you ever thought of using a straightening iron?

Are you able to straighten it or does that take too much time?

I hated my hair and did a lot of treatment done, ranging from coloring, straightening and the likes. Over the course of time they got quite brittle and lost their sheen. I had to consult a doctor to get their natural sheen back. Ever since then I stay away from various treatments out there and sine then I also love the way my hair is. :)

I can understand just how you feel about your hair. My girlfriend has the same kind of hair and she is always troubled by it. That's why occasionally she will go to the saloon to have her hair straightened. She goes to the saloon for that every half a year and it usually cost around $40. I guess you can consider going to saloon to have your hair straightened too. Oh, I think I have heard of a new kind of product which can be taken orally. I am not sure what it's called, but it will make your newly grown hair straightened and healthier which will change your naturally curly and frizzy hair to naturally straight and dark shiny hair. You can try search about the product on the internet.

Why don't you try and see tutorials on how you could style your kind of hair? I'm sure there is more to just having it tied on a pony tail. I too have had that kind of hair before. Yes, you read it right, it is in a past tense. I had my hair rebonded. If you would ask me if its a good thing, well, in terms of styling, well it is easier. But you know, I really miss my curly hair but it just won't go back exactly to how it was before.

Hi there, even i simply love straight long hair. My hair too are frizy but they are wavy, they got big waves. I love my hair as they are for now, i just want to remove the frizz and make my hair strong because they get tangled so easily. It frustrates. Well if you love straight hair, there are salons who do permanent straightening for your hair, that stays up to 1 year. You can try them.

You are so funny because I wish I had long curly hair that was thick. Meanwhile I have baby fine short straight hair which I really can't do much with. I wish it was long but I can't let it grow pass my neck for some reason. I look older but also it makes my face look longer. I use to get it permed when I was younger just to give it body and the curl. However, now I deal with it being straight and plain. I keep wishing for a great hairdo that I can have all the time but the best is cut very short which can become boring fast. I feel if you have long curly hair there are so many ways to wear it. I think due to the frizz you have you should try this shampoo that my daughters are raving about its called "Wen"

I really don't think that you would be happy if you had straight hair either as that is the kind of hair that I have. My hair is so straight that when I do decide that I want to curl it, I have to make my hair crispy with product in order for the curls to stay in my hair for more than just a few minutes. Hair is one of those things where we never really want to have the kind of hair that we were given when we were born. It's a no win situation if you ask me.

There are a lot of women now that like super straight hair, well at least in our Country. But is is too expensive. I have a slightly wavy hair and I just love the way it is. Some days, my hair wold be real straight when I have used a good conditioner. Anyway, haven't you considered rebonding your hair to make it striaght?

I have naturally wavy hair, and it is fine and limp that I don't like it that much either. I don't mind the waves, I just hope for a healthier and shinier texture.
