My Fugi finally died on me after about 6 years and I am totally lost without it. There have been times I wanted to take pics of my grandson and couldn't. I have a cheap cell phone that doesn't even have a camera on it! I've searched ebay and found a couple that I might be able to afford but I'm not sure that ebay is the way to go. I can't afford to get screweeeed! Do you have a digital camera? Tell me what kind it is and how it works and where you got it!

I think I would be leary about buying something like this on Ebay, even though I buy just about everything else. If you're going to do it, make sure the feedback is just plain excellent, which I'm sure you know already. It's just that if it doesn't suit you, it's such a hassle to send back. I would rather just go to Walmart, Kmart, or Best Buy and look at them and see the differences. Plus, you can talk with someone in person about it. You can't do that on Ebay. I'm also looking for a new camera but don't want to spend a whole lot of money. I had one but there were just too many little tiny buttons and different things you needed to do.....I just want simple but good.

You have a good point. I would rather see the buttons and everything on the camera before I bought it because I don't like anything that takes too much work to just take a photo. Some of them look so complicated.

Why don't you buy another Fuji since you had one already. It might be easier for you to use since you know what the buttons do already. I'm sure it has changed but more than likely you'll be able to figure it out since you're familiar with it. You can always do some research on "camera's for seniors" and see what comes up. That's what I'm going to do...I just want simple and easy, nothing fancy but takes good pictures.

I have a Canon. It is also about ten years old and the highest it prints are 5 mg photos. It used to belong to my husband and takes really good photos. You could try one of the photo shops in your area. Oh my cell phone does take photos. Oh when we got our camera, we went to Future Shop. You could also go to Best Buy.

I would love to be able to afford a Canon but they are so expensive. I think the Fuji's are a lot cheaper and easier to use. I am going to check Best Buy today.

I have never bought an electronic items over the net. Usually it is not as you b would I have expected it and you very cannot examine the item item personally. I know these sites are to be trusted and the sellers have good reputation. I am jist the kind of buyer that wants to see the item and hold it before deciding to buy it. My digital camera is canon and it was waterproof. It was kinda hard to find so I had bought it when I saw it the camera shop had b promo and the payment terms are up to installment of 12 months. Buying on legit shops gives you b full warranty coverage. Plus they also give out some freebies too.

I sometimes buy a few things at Ebay, but never really considered buying any gadget or electronic item from it. I'd rather check it out on stores where I can be sure that it is new and has a warranty. I am not into digital cameras. I mostly rely on my cellphone. There are a lot of good phones now that you may use to replace your digital camera. Atleast it gives you double purpose.

Since my cell phone is a free one I don't have a choice as to camera or not. I have to take what they give me. I'm not into those fancy phones that do everything but wash the dishes...lol..

Hi, Right, you'll get burned on online purchases. I prefer to buy mine on stores downtown, there are lots of good deals there just the same. For USD300, you can have a decent 16MP with 10x zoom in a Carl Ziess lens plus HD video recording and much more. Take your pick from among the popular brands of Nikon, Canon, Sony, the list is endless. Mine is a Sony H70, a small compact that pretends to be a DSLR, churning out pictures that put its bigger cousins to shame.

I just want a simple point and shoot camera. All that other stuff just confuses me.

I have one digital camera and it is still good. I don't know much about technology, just use it only, when i don't use it, i remove batteries out. it is 6 years, i think it is long enough for your camera, if you have enough money, you can buy a new one...

I didn't know much about my Fugi and also took the batteries out when I wasn't using it. It's just time for a new one
