Would anyone (besides me) like to see "Social Issues" as an "Interest"?

I'm not at all complaining about the new and improved myLot, but I'd love to see "Social Issues" or similar topics as an "Interest" category. Many of my discussions as well as those of others would easily fall into this category, and I myself participate in many human rights/civil liberties causes.

Social Issues topic sounds like a great idea to me. I know alot of people post about that stuff.
I see an over abundance repeat of topics...YOu can do a search and not find any..post one than all of a sudden there are 50 of the same topic. That is another pet peeve.

You can start your own groups that discuss only the topic of your choice. Gather has been a great outlet for me.

I've been saying that for awhile now. I am getting tired of the coke or pepsi questions. If there is nothing interesting to me or that catches my attention I am usually in and out because it becomes boring real quick.

I think that is a good idea. Some of my questions are just silly but I have posted some about social issues in Britain. Not many responses to those questions though.

Unless Mylot knuckles down on the postings about non-sense it will continue. One site I have found that is worthy of such posts is Gather.com. You should check it out. I know that you would appreciate it more than Mylot.
