Hey Maxine, there is only 120-130 million people working in the USA. How can 170 million lose their jobs?
I hate it when people are so out of touch like this.

It's all part of the liberal "Better Living Through Fear" campaign. They ring as many alarm bells as they can, hoping no one will notice there isn't any fire. Remember when Obama threatened not to send Social Security checks if he didn't get his debt limit increase? There's nothing that Dems like better than hysterics and melodrama.

If that's all it was, why didn't she correct herself on the spot? She knows that "million" is much scarier sounding than "thousand." She was trying to scare people the way democrats do whenever they want to raise taxes. "The world's going to end!" crap has been used too many times and the American people are finally getting tired of it. Thank god Republicans weren't bullied into undoing sequester. The cuts are basically meaningless, but taking a stand against the democrat's lies at least had some meaning.

Even 170,000 is too much considering what we will be facing. Looks like Cardinal Peter Turkson will be the next Pope according to St. Malachy http://www.bibliotecapleyades.net/vatican/esp_vatican14b.htm and with the coming mother of all solar storms, we don't have time for hardening of hearts by Democrats nor Republicans.

Hmm maybe she is counting the illegal immigrants as well as the real Americans. Or it could be that she misplaced the decimal point. Or it is a nice way of saying in the future, there will be 170 million people in America and they all will be on welfare.

Well, it just goes to show how stupid the libtards are, these people have been in charge giving false information for years and now the American people (who work) are sick of it and are pointing it out. It clearly states in the article that it was an error on her part. Either way, I'm so tired of hearing about these cut backs. It's time they stop now and re-think the whole process because the millions who are already out of work are having a hard time as it is with how difficult the process has become.

Since when have we been able to believe anything the government says. These are just scare tactics to get what they want. I know our hospital said they would be able to get along without the money they threatened to take from them and that no one would be getting fired.
