That was an excellent start by team India in the second test match against Australia at Hyderabad. The change is, the hero in the first session turned out t0 be the newbie Bhuvaneswar Kumar. It's about to be lunch time and Australia are struggling at 82/4. The first three wickets claimed by Kumar and the last one picked by Aswin. Bhuvaneswar Kumar started his wicket collection in test matches with a beautiful delivery to Warner. Now all the responsibility is once again on the Australian captain Michael Clarke. It will be interesting to watch how far Australia can go in this turning pitch with uneven bounce. What you say guys?

But Clarke is still at the crease and he is the worrying factor for India. India somehow has to get Michael Clarke get out in order to have a tight grip in this match. Now Aussies have reached 142 at the loss of 4 wickets. If in one hour they doesn't lose a wicket they will be in good position.

Its just reached 187/4. Just the thing that was worrying me. Still not beyond India though. Hopefully the final session will be better.

Yes you got it right mohkanari...at the time I wrote Australia were 130 for 4. Doesn't matter much they were 142 for 4 at that time. Clarke has made India bowling look too bad but Jadeja heroics have led India to driving seat. Hope tomorrow India bats well and reach near 500 runs. This pitch has something for pacers and Pattinson would be hard to negotiate on morning.

Yes,i agree with you.Bhuvanesh kumar and Jadeja were the stars of the day.Good to see Bhajji in action as well.Aussies managed only a average score of 237 but made a bold declaration. They wanted to fancy their chances of getting a wicket or two.Luckily we did not.Now our aim should be to target a lead of 400 or more and give opposition a chance of bowlout with in an innings. It will be a challenge.I hope we can get a good solid opening stand and few fifties and hundreds to get to that mark and well, if he capitalise on another 2 days, i think it should be more or less an Indian victory.I am impressed with Jadeja who is improving with each match he is playing. This is totally different from what we saw of him in 2009/2010.As far as Aussies are concerned, only Clarke and Wade gave any challenge to Indian and rest of them did not get them any where at all.As Gavaskar pointed out, any challenge given to opposition needs to be 400 or more runs on board these days. They did well in first innings in first match but faltered well in second innings.I guess if we see Indians dominating in next 2 days, the match could be well over in four days.Aussies cannot last in spinning web for long if no miracles happen like rain. Thanks!

Yes, you are right. A huge lead in the first innings for team India will do the job. We missed the innings victory in the last match but in this test we should achieve it. But this all is possible only when Indian bastmen perform well in their first innings. Still I didn't understand why Clarke declared their first innings.

Bhuvaneshwar Kumar has definitely rocked the Australian team. They were probably complacent in thinking that if they handle our spinners they'll be OK. That mindset has certainly come back to bite them. I think Clrake will offer some resistance but we should be able to bowl them out before close of play else we'll have handed back the initiative to Australia.

yes, that was really a nasty over from Bhuvaneswar Kumar. No one could do any resistance to that except the skipper Clarke. And I was sure he will continue his good form against India. A captain who leads from the front.

Yes, the home conditions is a plus factor for India. If not for Dhoni, India surely could not have win this match. So, India need to concentrate on the second test.

Yes, its good start and now currently six wickets have fallen. But, Clarke is still leading the Australia well. But, this time I will not be able to enjoy the moments of second test match as my schedule has become busy and my routine will not allow to spare much time to enjoy this second test match. I hope India will be excellent in batting innings too.

India had an excellent first session thanks to some really good bowling by Bhuvi. Bhuvi is becoming the new ball bowler India has been missing. I think if he continues his wicket taking run, then he could really be in for a long haul with the team. But the second session belonged completely to the aussies and they have gone through the whole session without losing a wicket and adding 100 odd runs to be back in the match. I think Dhoni missed a few tricks in that session, but not bringing Ashwin early. Ashwin came in only an hour after the game restarted. Clarke and Wade have both scored important fifties and are going on well at this moment. Cheers! Ram

Certainly a good start for India. India was lacking a penetrating fast bowler for last few seasons. B Kumar is proving that he could compensate it.
