Me and My Guitar on an Ordinary Tuesday Prayer Meeting

Every Tuesday is prayer meeting at our church. Just like most of the prayer meetings at other churches, singing praise and worship would usually be the first in agenda or program. I am not a member of our church's worship team although I was invited many times already to join them. And I woud always tell them that I am a choir person (back in our church in the bigger city I came from, I was a choir member and at the same time, a cell leader). I have been leading our big "smallgroup" every week in praise and worship with either my guitar or keyboard but I never tried leading our church's prayer meeting. Three weeks ago, I was again asked by our church's worship leader to lead a Tuesday prayer meeting praise and worship. I really struggled. I just didn't have enough confidence. Last Sunday, I finally said yes. I have prayed for this moment. I knew this would come. I always have my time alone with God daily that includes singing praises and thanksgiving and praying in tongues until my hands get tired playing the instrument. This time I would lead and just allow the Holy Spirit to lead me bigtime. Please pray for me. For God to be glorified in our midst and be magnified in me. Please pray that I'd be a holy vessel He could use to usher His people i His holy presence. This is not an ordinary Tuesday for me..Tuesdays always become special whenever the people of God gather to pray.

Thank you for praying. I really appreciate it. God is good! He indeed gave me confidence last night and He's there with us during the prayer meeting. God bless you.
