I have always been an advocate of everything that's healthy. Besides being a nurse, I also do a lot of researches regarding health issues including food, beverages, medicines, vitamins, illnesses. Many years ago, I started drinking green tea. Everytime I finish a cup, I would have intense headache. I never suspected green tea to be the culprit at first. But the pattern I observed made made me conclude that I have an allergy to green tea and some herbal products. I envy those who are privileged to enjoy the benefits of green tea. Do you know some tea family that has the same benefits green tea gives? I think that green tea is the best among the tea category..

All teas (real tea - Camelia sinensis) have antioxidants if that's what you're after. Green tea has more, the next is black tea and I think the least is white tea. You'd just have to drink more black tea to get the same effect.
If you have a reaction to green tea, you might have the same to other teas, though.
