what is the meaning of the lines in your palm?

i wonder why we have different lines in our palm, i see my son's palm and he has straight line i asked some people and they said might be my son get into politics because of the straight line in his palm,in my daughter's palm are same like mine. is there any books or website can really explain the lines in our palm? im just curious, is there anyone here knows how to read lines in our palm? thank you! :)

I dont believe in that reading the palm stuff. Maybe its like those rings on a tree. Tells how old we are. Happy wed. to you ...

Well I've heard of palm readings and such, however I don't give much to that as I think life is what we make it. You could go to a palm reader if you like and get advice on that, however it is just advice do not take it seriously.
We all make our own decisions on what we need to do and where we need to go. We have to make our own goals and work towards them. Advice from someone else is sometimes helpful. However we are altamately in charge of are own life's.

I don't belive in cheiromancy. But I have found many sites in the net where you can see the meaning of every line. Besides palmistry is not just about the lines it's about the shape of the palm, the shape of the fingers. To make a prediction you have to add many factors.
