I cannot believe I will go to American university within less three monthes, It means I do not have much time to stay in my hometown and Actually, I could say I know nothing about America, maybe I read some news about this country or someone tells me their stories about living in U.S. but you know people will feel nervous when they would go to some places really far away. I'm from China. Are Americans friendly to foreign students like me? I am not good at English, will local American guys live me alone and do not want to make friends with me ? by the way, I will go to the university of Missouri, Columbia, anyone in there too? My facebook name is Yingxuan Li and My twitter is @yingxuan_li Have a nice day!

You'll enjoy here in the US and most of people here are friendly. I am from Japan and I like U.S so far and no problem at all. Just don't mind about people that are not being nice to you cuz mean people are always around. You'll enjoy the summer by the time you get here

I have lived in China almost 19 years, I really feel good that my family can give me such chance to study in America, Launguage is the biggest problem for me. It's not easy for Chinese to study English well, you know, In my country everyone only talks with others and writes in Chinese. Have a nice day!

I've never been to the USA. This is something I'd really like to do in my life. I studyed in Germany and lived there for 14 years. A good experience. Hope you enjoy your life there!

I live here now for 2 months and my first impression is that it is clean. The people in our town are so nice and so polite, young people still call the older folks "sir" and "ma'am". Of course like anywhere else, there are good and bad people. You will make friends, you will meet people who doesn't like you or where you are from, people who are kind and grounded, and people who are proud. It's a big different from where I came from (Philippines) and I have to make some major adjustments. But when it comes to food, its no problem at all. Mostly it's the weather but now I know how to dress up or bundle up for the cold.
